Not the easiest water to fish but the rewards can be good.
The complex record a common at 42 lb+ was taken by Simon Hoffgartner in June 2005, named Nina by his captor.
Another of the pits more sought after fish is "Baby Bazz", a mirror scaling around the 35.5 lb mark. This was the UK record pole caught fish taken by Keith Faithful in May 2005 while he was fishing for bream.
There are 14 other 30's in this pit along with a good number of upper 20's.
Pike fishing is allowed on this pit from Oct 1st-Mar 31st.
